Developments on this web site

Hi. It's been a while since I blogged - 15 October 2021 to be precise. In that time, there have been a few changes, so a thought a new post was overdue!

Firstly, this is a new web site - though I've retained my domain name. In the process of switching providers, there was no means of transferring my past blog posts except by an incredibly tortuous process, so after a couple of pages, I stopped.

I imagine the world will cope with their absence, but if I had actually written something useful in the past and you were looking for it - my apologies.

Secondly, I've taken a huge leap into new territory for me and bought a Nikon Z9 - ie a full pro mirrorless camera. It's a steep learning curve, and I will try to write a few words about my experience - soon.

In the meanwhile, I hope you and yours are safe in these bizarre times.
